Across the RF::Suite
As part of our ongoing effort to improve the functionality and performance of our software solutions, we are introducing several key updates across multiple tools in the RF::Suite. These enhancements bring better performance, new integrations, and smoother handling of complex workflows.
RF::PLCConnect
A new Beckhoff integration tool expands the possibilities for automation and control within your workflows.
- RF::BeckhoffConnect: Newly introduced for seamless integration of Beckhoff controllers into your projects.
RF::FSBox
Major performance improvements increase flexibility and compatibility in demanding environments.
- Increased Capacity: Now supports twice the number of PLCs simultaneously compared to previous versions.
- Firmware Downgrade Support: Enables greater flexibility and compatibility with older systems.
RF::TIAExporter
The new version improves working with Siemens systems and simplifies export-related tasks.
- Optimized Signal List Export: Exporting signal lists is now more efficient.
- Streamlined Block Export: Block export options have been improved for smoother workflows.
RECv2
New features provide more robust handling of large and damaged recording files.
- Recovery for Corrupted Recording Files: Corrupted files can now be automatically detected and recovered.
- File Splitting: Recording files can now be split into multiple parts for easier processing and analysis.
RF::Launcher
Improved integrations and archiving features make project setup and tool handling much more efficient.
- EdDi Starter Integration: VIBN and EdDi models can now be started from the same system.
- Pack&Go: Create complete archives without missing relevant project data.
- Connector Integration: Supports tools such as RF::OPCUAConnect, RF::SiemensRead, RF::SiemensDBConnect and third-party tools like PLCSimAdvance.
RF::ViPer
Smarter device integration and improved logging simplify setup and daily operation.
- FSConnect Support: Can now replace PLCIN/PLCOUT ShMs for easier device setup.
- Library & FMU Handling: Install libraries from project archives and use FMUs with integrated ST code generation.
- Improved Operation: Centralized PASClient logging and improved ShM address handling provide smoother workflows.
RF::VPM Tool
New preparation options improve project structuring, robot import workflows, and support for Beckhoff environments.
- Project Merge Preparation: Supports merging multiple PLC projects into one using the new address offset option and object prefixes.
- Robot Backup Import: Import robot backups for VW OEM projects.
- Smarter Preview Grids: Default sorting by station and row numbering is now supported.
- Beckhoff TwinCAT ADS Preparation: Prepare projects using Beckhoff TwinCAT ADS.
- FSConnect Preparation: Prepare projects using FSConnect devices instead of PLCIN/PLCOUT ShMs.
