Process analysis

The process analysis offers a detailed overview of the process data that can be recorded live, imported from planning values or PLC programs, loaded from a template or created manually.A Gantt chart lists the individual processes in detail, which can be adjusted and optimized at any time. Different modes allow deeper insights into the analyzed data, such as calculating average cycle time, workload and histograms. These tools can be used to optimize processes in terms of cycle time, output and process stability.

Interlock Checker and Shift

The Interlock Check analyzes programmed interlocks in the robot programs and checks all possible interactions between robots to detect potential collisions and avoid production downtime. The defined locks are checked for consistency in an interlock matrix and can be pre-filtered by selecting specific programs. A compact overview of potential collisions is provided and can be checked in deep detail within the 3D visualization. The endresult is exported as a comprehensive report.

To compensate for discrepancies between virtual plant models and real-world plants, SHIFT employs a sophisticated alignment method using only robot programs. This approach enables precise identification of differences, ensuring accurate positioning to provide the most realistic result for the Interlock analysis

RF::SCOUT applications and plugins

Frequently asked questions

The RF::Scout Analysis is based on recorded data (e.g recorded via RecV2) and symbollists to identify the signals. That is the basic data needed for the Process Analysis and the SIgnalyser. For the Interlock Check we also need 3D data (RF::YAMS file) and the robot data (e.g. robot back-ups).

With RF::Scout you aren’t only able to record your data from your virtual commissioning cell but also use the live data from the real cell to perform your analysis. You can also use both to compare these.

Currently the Interlock Check supports various robots like ABB, KUKA, FANUC, etc. and a great amount of standards from OEMs like Mercedes-Benz, VW, BMW, VDL, FFT, General Motors, etc. And there is also the possibility to add any kind of standard to it.

Not in a sense that RF::scout can directly read and work with it. But it can use the data while using RF::Yams as an in-between step to convert the data, so it can be loaded in RF::Scout.
